The setting sun dips low behind the maple trees, orange light filtering through a patchwork of scarlet, and he thinks he would probably find it more beautiful if he hadn’t just spent the last three hours being interrogated like a criminal.
Thanks to an overenthusiastic wave, Thoma arrives in Inazuma facedown on a beach, with his passport having taken up residence at the bottom of the ocean. The Ritou border control officers are not pleased about that.
