    “Luo Binghe doesn’t kill omegas,” Shen Qingqiu reiterates through clenched teeth. It was an entire thing in Proud Immortal Demon Way—one of Bingge’s staunch principles that Shen Qingqiu had admired as a reader. Not even villainous omegas! The women were, naturally, folded into his harem, while the men (rare as male omega villains were) were just sort of…left alone. Oh, Bingge would slap them around a bit, of course, but at the end of the day they would snivel so pathetically that he’d just drop them in order to focus on whatever new wife he had just acquired.

    Shen Qingqiu’s face may be thin, but he isn’t above doing a bit of sniveling if it means keeping his life. The only problem is that his current body is that of an alpha.

    Shen Qingqiu enacts a hare-brained scheme to avoid his death at the protagonist's hands. He discovers a few things about both himself and Luo Binghe along the way.

    Shen Qingqiu is saved on the brink of death. That leaves the System, halfway through transmigrating Shen Yuan over, slightly puzzled. And so, he is spat out on the Cang Qiong Mountain directly.

    Years later Demon Lord Luo Binghe comes to burn down his old sect, as according to the plot. Shen Yuan is reasonably shocked when in a desperate attempt to bargain, the Sect Leader hands him over to Luo Binghe as a concubine. Even more so, when the Demon Lord accepts the deal.

    Thus, Shen Yuan begins his life as Wife #127 – full of palace intrigues and hopeless pining.

    “Now, now,” Snufkin told himself. “It could be a coincidence…”

    A coincidence, that a poem with the exact same title and opening lines as his own work had made its way to publication? Unlikely.

    Snufkin didn’t have his original copy to compare the stolen poem against. He only enjoyed writing poetry. Afterwards, he never really wanted to revisit it or share it. He just left the old notebook behind somewhere and procured a new one, ready to start again.

    There was no denying the familiarity, though. After hearing it in Moominpappa’s voice, he couldn’t remember when or where he penned it, but the work was certainly his.

    That didn’t solve the issue of how this De Hemulton fellow had come to claim it as his own, or why.
