Summary
Rocky thought he had all the time in the world after landing back on Erid. Grace thought he didn't have anything at all.
Both are kind of wrong.
Between complex Eridian customs and the imminent danger of starvation they somehow, barely, make it out unscathed.

Summary
Rocky clicks nervously, swaying and tapping the ground in a tight rhythm. He stands next to the xenonite barrier overlooking Grace's medical area, but most of his attention is across the lobby, on the space elevator door and its approaching platform.
When the door opens Adrian explodes into the room; Rocky's name and every nickname they've ever given him repeating and overlapping within their desperate song.
Rocky hesitates for a single hearts-beat before barrelling toward them, warbling broken notes as his vents catch and strain.
The two crash hard and loud. Several scientists and doctors jump then click at them to check they haven't cracked their carapaces.
Rocky and Adrian cling to each other, deaf to the world as they entwine limbs and rasp claws over one another. They twitter, exchanging frantic messages of love and longing, trilling out relief painful and raw.

Summary
When they get to Erid, Rocky goes down to the surface with one thing on his mind.
If he was a better Eridian, it would be explaining to everyone as quickly as he could about the predator. About the organism that is going to save their star. Save their planet.
Rocky is not a good Eridian.

Get ready for 31 different stories featuring our lovely Ryland Grace. These are mostly stories about Grace and Rocky's relationship through the lens of whump, but Adrian, Carl, Stratt, and original Eridians are featured as well.

But Rocky uses another claw to grab a tissue and wipe at his skin. His touch is always surprisingly tender for being a rock.
“Did you think…” his voice trails off. “Did you think I was gonna -”
“No,” Rocky says immediately, cutting him off. “Grace sick. Grace hurt. But Grace no die.”
Grace nods. “I wouldn’t have gotten through this without you.”
Rocky dabs the tears around his eyes away. “Rocky would not be here without Grace.”
