Summary
Khonshu senses the exact moment Marc's soul crashes back into his body. He feels that first intake of air, a wet, desperate sound that is entirely too human, and yet he finds himself synchronising his own non-existent rhythm to it. He ignores how it seems like the first breath he himself had taken since being released (though breathing for him is unnecessary). Behind his ribs, he feels a phantom spike where his heart might be, had he any use for one; he ignores that too. He is gone before Marc takes his second breath.

"Goodbye Harvey"
He turns to leave and fuck, Harvey doesn't want him to, because he'll never come back. So he blurts the only thing that comes to mind.
"Coward", he mutters, loud enough to be heard.
It does the trick. Mike freezes with a hand on the door, and neither of them moves a hair for the next few painful moments. The air around them seems to be holding its breath, a delicate layer of thin glass that could shatter with the smallest touch.
Harvey almost winces, silently cursing his alcohol-induced brain for its stupid decisions. But he stands his ground, as Mike turns slowly back around to face him.
"What did you just say to me?"

Ladybug laughs at her rant, and gives her shoulder a gentle, reassuring squeeze.
"I know it's alright. I wish I could tell everyone too", she adds wistfully, and something in Chloé's chest swells ridiculously at the words.
'It's okay', she wants to say, 'This is enough. You're enough'
But usually, she's not one to say all that mushy stuff, so instead she flashes her girlfriend a mischievous grin.

Of course they were excited about this, it meant the four of them could send memes to each other and their sweet sunshine boy could experience the wonderful internet world. Or, really, the horrors, but that was just part of the experience.
