    One hundred years ago during the Carni-Herbi War, the herbivores bioengineered the Rabies virus to wipe out the carnivores.     Four, an herbivore clone, holds a secret that will radically alter the balance of power between herbivore and carnivore. When he escapes from his carnivore captors, he seeks to find the truth behind his past. He may just find it with an unusual wolf...

    Together, they become enmeshed in a conflict between the herbivore remnants, the government, an organized gang of lions, and more. Their obstacles are many, their foes powerful, and they must use their wits to survive the machine.
