Summary
Out of nowhere, mask wearing peeps popped suddenly popped up in a world of too much darkness.
They all had weapons, from obvious to some creative ones. Yet all of these weapons are known to kill. Somehow, they don't.
All of these help a person they are supposed to kill. Instead, they benefit through 'reincarnating' them into a new person.
They help with helping another peep realize something about themselves and help them in their track to have a greater life emotionally and mentally.
These little pokes help peeps to try little by little on fixing their lives.

Gangle and Zooble had immediately run off to who knows where when Caine announced the update had gone live. Pomni didn't know what Jax and Ragatha's reactions were—Jax had left the moment the AI said the word "sex" and Ragatha had left after the word "npc." She hadn't asked the next time she saw them because... quite honestly, she didn't want to know. Kinger had patiently listened to Caine explain the mechanics of it all and then politely declined—he didn't want to imagine being with anyone other than his wife, and that ship had already sailed years ago.
As for Pomni herself...
Well.

This can be read completely independently, chapter's 1-9 are exactly the same as my original story, chapter 10 is mostly the same with just some minor differences at the end, forward it will be a different story with a happy ending due to popular demand. There is still a healthy dose of angst, jut, yk, it actually ends well. In the end notes of chapter 10 I will post what the differences in that chapter from the original if people coming from the original work don't want to reread it all
