Geralt of Rivia is called to the City of Dragfa nearly two hundred and fifty years since the events of Lady of the Lake. On the coast of Bremervoord in what seems to be a normal extermination contract quickly turns sour, and when old friends, old enemies, and new enemies start to appear, the Witcher Geralt must walk the line of trying to find the cause of the murders in the city, and keeping hold of those he holds dear. With dark magic afoot and a monster Geralt has never delt with before, he will be hard pressed to come out of this alive.

Summary
