The tears all rushed back, as she threw herself onto him- hanging by his shoulder with one of her arms and the other, gripping onto the clothes around his waist “Save her!”
Surprised at the sudden contact, the desperation in her voice, and the fact that he had no context as to what had just happened, he wasn’t sure what to do- so for a second, she clung onto him, shoulders shaking as she cried.
“Who?” he questioned, looking around for an answer.
There were several of them, with bodies laying on the floor left and right.
“Isha!” she cried out.
For once.. she was the one who needed saving. Where S2, E6 left off.

A vague message in a voice not belonging to the glowing, alternate timeline version of the only girl he’s ever loved? That was too much for most to understand. “I still don’t know who you are or who Isha even is- let alone how to save her… Why are you telling me all of this?”
“Because we won,” The voice said as Powder’s smile fell. “And yet we lost nearly everything… I’m telling you this because at least one of us should be happy in the end.”

Summary
Jinx and Ekko have been friends ever since high school, the two of them bonding for several things. Growing up in the same neighborhood, loving the same music, etc. They were just able to get along well, surprising everyone. Ekko was more benevolent, sticking to his studies and his art. Jinx is louder and more bold, getting into trouble only for Ekko to save her. No one understood each other better than they did, no one could save the other out of a rut better than they did. They were soulmates.
So when they go to the same college, that friendship of theirs continues to grow strong. Well, until they both go to a party and after a couple drinks, hook up with each other. It's bound to complicate the friendship, right? But Jinx had a solution to help them both so they won't feel so guilty. And so they come to an agreement: to be friends with benefits. They fuck but still maintain their friendship, allowing themselves to see other people. And it starts off great, for a short while.

“What are you doing?” Jinx yells, her voice suddenly coming alive. Panic and confusion war in her eyes as she twists to look at him, the wind stealing her voice as soon as it escapes her mouth. “This was only supposed to be me!”
“Yeah, well,” Ekko shouts back, heart in his throat. “I couldn’t let you leave me again.”
He reaches for the pull string one more time as the floor rises up faster and faster. He grips onto her with all of his strength, and prays that the anomaly will have enough juice to save them both. As he finally pulls he doesn’t notice the crack running up the side of the glass, or the ominous tick as his stopwatch ticks past the red line he’d drawn with one of Powder’s oil crayons.
Pull. Reverse.

Ekko accidentally brings him and Jinx back to before it all began. Now, they have to struggle to fix the mistakes of the past while figuring out how to heal. But, hey, at least they're together.

Jinx isn't sure what to think when she gets a wedding invitation in the mail from her ex, Ekko. He was going to be married to someone else, a pretty girl named Zeri. Jinx knows she should be happy for Ekko. It's been five years since their relationship and things hadn't worked between them. Ekko had seemingly moved on and Jinx thought she had too.
But all those old feelings Jinx had for Ekko suddenly came flooding back.
Despite knowing better, Jinx decided to see Ekko again. The wedding isn't for a couple of months and Jinx figured it'd be nice to reconnect with his ex while meeting his beautiful fiancé. Things seem to be going well, despite Jinx battling her feelings of love for Ekko and jealousy towards Zeri. Always having been so close, it's no surprise when it feels like old times between. But that proves to be dangerous when they go to a bar one time, drinking and reminiscing on old feelings. It ends with the two of them sleeping together.
