Summary
Inspired by the scene where Ezequiel holds Michele's head underwater, and of the flashbacks of Ezequiel and Julia.
When Julia held Ezequiel's head underwater, it was like a baptism, a reframing. Ezequiel thinks the same is true when he does it to Michele. She reminds him of Julia, and of his past self. Sometimes we see ourselves best through the fractured reflection of another person, but is it true? Or do we only see what we want to see?

Tommy caught a familiar voice from the other end of the aisle. He was talking to himself, muttering over a shopping list of his own and looking rather liked a harried parent.
“What the fuck does ‘red sauce’ mean? Ketchup? Salsa? And how many Eggos do we actually need?”
Tommy watched as the man held his hand over his eyes and take a deep, calming breath.
“Steve Harrington, as I live and breathe,” he said, trying his best not to sound like a girl with a highschool crush.
“Tommy, hey, man,” Steve started. “It’s been a while.”

Summary
At the beginning of his rant, lecture, whatever, Hottie stares right at him. He has a really intense stare. Pretty brown eyes set in a prettier face with even prettier hair on top of his head. Eddie gets distracted by all that pretty and by trying to make his point.
And he doesn’t notice until halfway through that Hottie isn’t looking at him anymore. He’s looking at his friend.
Eddie looks at her, too. Looks at her confused and focused expression. Looks at her hands moving rapidly.
Oh. G-d.
Hottie’s deaf, isn’t he?

It's the first time Corroded Coffin goes on tour, and a well-intentioned Eddie Munson puts his foot straight into his mouth when he tries to talk to a light tech. God bless the power of stupid apology songs, shared experience, and twenty four hour diners for giving him a second, better chance.

Summary
ST4 fix-it with a hand-wavey timeline and an extremely vague "everything's beautiful and nothing hurts" ending instead of the canon one. obviously, not canon-compliant with ST4, kind of compliant with the rest of the series, though the events of s1-3 aren't really discussed. featuring gnc eddie munson and MtF/transfemme steve (stella) harrington! there isn't really a plot, just an established relationship and some coming outs (one written, one to come) that features growing up, moving out, and building a life together. sappy, domestic, and painfully poetic at times.
