Summary
You know that saying 'More Money, More Problems'? Well I'd like to change that saying. 'Big Family, Big Problems'.
Now I'm not saying that every big family has big problems, but in my case, that saying was all too true.
I was the middle child in a family of 7 kids. 4 boys, 3 girls. The oldest was a boy, the 2 girls, then me. Then another boy, another girl, and a boy was last.
The story I'm about to tell you is the story of the oldest child, Danny, and me, Evan.
It is of how you should always know exactly what is going on in your own home. Never assume everything is alright when you feel that it isn't. And if you are ever suspicious of anything, check it out immediately.

Summary
Steve Rogers met Tony Stark in Afghanistan in 2011, when they were taken captive after their convoy was decimated by the Ten Rings.
Three years later, Steve is slowly getting his life back after the trauma of an imprisonment he can barely remember. He still has nightmares and attacks of paranoia and panic, and still blames himself for the death of the soldiers under his command. But he also has his friends, a cat and a good job. Most of the time he's happy.
Then he comes back from a weekend away and discovers someone's been staying in his apartment. And then he sees a beautiful, haunted man who shouldn't be familiar, but is. Steve's nightmares suddenly include a stranger with blue-grey eyes, and he wakes up mourning for someone who may not even be real.
And Steve's careful, quiet life starts unraveling.

For this prompt by Dayzor from the Imagine Tony and Bucky comm on Tumblr:
"Oh yay! Super excited!! I've been sitting on a couple prompts haha Imagine a Sentinel/Guide AU- Tony is a guide, something kept from the public as Howard always saw it as weak. Bucky is a sentinel, and HYDRA made a point to never send the Winter Soldier after any guides to avoid natural instincts breaking through their programming. They send him after Tony, not knowing better."
The Winter Soldier had never had a Guide.
They told him that he must not approach or engage a Guide. They didn't explain why, but he knew better than to ask. He was the Winter Soldier, Sentinel and weapon. The only things he needed to know were what they told him.
And two days ago, they'd told him to kill Tony Stark.

He told Mikey he wouldn't touch another pill for as long as he lived, something he's sure the guy has heard from every passing person who's entered inpatient, sat in those hard unforgiving metal chairs. They probably stopped keeping a tally of how many showed back up again with the same solemn promise as if they forgot they already broke it the first time.
