Kurosawa’s is a small, serpentine eastern dragon named Kanpai — charismatic, perceptive, and deeply frustrated by seven years of watching its human consciously restrain his feelings for Adachi.
Adachi’s companion is a freshwater turtle named Nibby, calm and gentle and entirely unaware that it's the center of Kanpai’s attention.
As Kanpai grows increasingly bold in its attempts to befriend (aka flirt with) Nibby at the office, Kurosawa finds himself fighting a losing battle to keep his feelings contained.
Especially when Adachi remains oblivious — and Kanpai absolutely refuses to be.

He stared at the flickering screen for a few seconds, before he finally decided to shut his eyes; it was unbearably boring to be confined to his hospital bed. He supposes, he could have the opportunity to step out and breathe the fresh air. With that in mind, slowly he sat up from the bed and exited the room. The moment he reached outside, he couldn’t help himself and let out a sigh as he finally breathed in the fresh air.
