I am doing this because the story has grown since I started writing it beyond what I initially planned, and now I want to implement more detail (the plot remains the same). Summary
This is a Modern take on my boys, Reyes & Astarion. I started writing this story way before I started writing Dying To Live (the previous story in this series). Same characters, alternate universe, very different setting.
If you're reading this before "Dying To Live", and you plan to read that one too, do it at your own risk because this story bears some spoilers for the main plot of the other.
I'm not sure whether I'll finish this, or when, because "Dying To Live" takes priority for now. And my time allotted to writing is scarce lately. But I hope you can still enjoy it.~
Astarion is a true vampire, and a very special one, in the 'employ' of the most powerful master vampire in Faerûn.
One day out of the blue, Cazador tells him he's free to do whatever he wants for the duration of one month. It was very sudden, and Astarion doesn't have any immediate plans, but one thing is certain: he'll definitely make the most of it.Series

Summary
This is a poem by one of eminent poets from my country, and my favorite poem of all time at that.
I have translated it myself to English, trying to stay completely faithful to all the verses and the spirit of the poem altogether.Coincidentally, the poem fits insanely well with Durge's psyche, to my utter surprise and delight.

Did she even have a limit when things were simply too much? Bethany had always admired her presence of mind, but this was ridiculous.
~The idea of this story had started out back in 2016 and evolved in time. I made an overhaul in 2020 and I believe it's now unraveling as intended.
