Summary

In modern-day Seoul, Till is a bartender alongside Mizi at Anakt, a bar owned by Hyuna and her boyfriend, Luka. Set in the dusky backdrop of the streets of Itaewon, days melt into one another, the hole inside Till is filled only with the hum of neon lights, cigarettes, and liquor. But things haven't felt right for some time. Till knows something is wrong. Faces flicker. Dreams pour from the darkened corners, and memories creep toward the surface.
And then there's Ivan.

Summary
Love after pain feels nothing like love at all.
Love after pain feels like impending betrayal. It feels like standing on the other side of a bridge, torch in hand, ready to light the ropes.
Love after pain feels like being the most unworthy, underserving, unlovable individual that the universe has to offer.
But how lucky he is, perhaps, to have a man as stubborn and persistent as Veritas.
Or; Aventurine has no idea how to love, or how to be loved. As he waits for the other shoe to drop, he is left with two options - let Veritas in properly, or cut him off forever.
