Summary
Shane Hollander is traded to the Ottawa Centaurs three days before the NHL trade deadline.
Suddenly the league's fiercest rivals have to share a locker room, a bench, practices, and road trips.
Ottawa expects fights.
The media is hungry for disaster.
Instead, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov become the most dangerous line in hockey.The only problem? Shane is still dating Rose, and it turns out a handful of games a season were a lot easier to survive than sharing a locker room all the time.

Summary
Shane is technically moving on.
Objectively, he’s doing great. He has a stable relationship with James, an emotionally healthy businessman who texts him good morning every day, folds laundry correctly, and somehow makes stability feel both comforting and slightly alarming.
The problem is that Shane has unfortunately never loved anything normally in his entire life, and definitely not Ilya, his ex-boyfriend, former secret, and current ongoing psychological condition.
Shane and Ilya broke up after the Boxing Day fight and have both theoretically moved on. Now Ilya has Alice and Shane has James.
Unfortunately, they are still completely in love with each other and handling that with the emotional maturity of two men who communicate primarily through hockey and prolonged eye contact.
