We were to create our own alternate ending on what we think should have happened.
I spent a whole ass week on this bitch and poured my HEART and SOUL into it. It came out to ten pages in google docs. I’ll be damned if only my teacher sees this.

Summary
Kaveh puts his other hand on the human’s, even though it barely covers the pad of his finger. “I’m sorry,” he whispers, like it will mean anything to the sleeping human. He’d offer a hug, if he could. Not like the human would be able to feel it, anyway.
He fails to notice that the human’s eyes are now open. Or that his other hand is now creeping behind Kaveh, reaching for something on the bedside table.
Something large comes down over Kaveh’s head, and he yelps.
Kaveh is a borrower - a small being living within the walls of Alhaitham's house, 'borrowing' scraps the human doesn't need to survive. He tries to stay out of sight... but between Alhaitham's grief over the loss of his grandmother, his own loneliness, and perhaps a bit too much empathy for a giant who could easily crush him, "staying out of sight" proves to be much harder than Kaveh thought. (a borrower!Kaveh AU)

It would make sense, staying true with his song. Melody was a part of a siren's entire life, they could hear a person's heart from their song. His song was like a shield, it formed something strong, and almost golden. His heart sang to protect his crew, shining like rays of light in the darkness. It was the most noble song of all.
And still, he refused to kill him, a siren that threatened his life. He’d never come across a human like him before. So, when he sees a fire strike his ship, he knows what he has to do. A life for a life.

Javier Asrahan is a beautiful siren (whose tail can turn into legs if on land long enough.)
Lloyd Frontera is a greedy pirate, because of course he is.
They meet, Javier tries to eat Lloyd, it fails, they end up shipwrecked; hijinks ensue.
AKA: alternate universe if Javier and Lloyd were introduced to physical intimacy early on
