Summary
Stuck in a role made for you, you wake up in a society where you are expected to fulfill expectations and achieve great things. And those great things include jobs.
You greedily take the first job application given to you. It was an opportunity for goodness sake! It’s some easy currency for you to earn and a safer way to blend in to the crowd. Who could ever pass an oh so very tempting offer?
That is, until you regret meeting a certain dual faced, split personality polygon. Forced to work with her as a lowly intern until you eventually become her assistant, you start to undertake the paperwork and odd jobs assigned to you. There is barely any time to catch your breath before you dive your head into the suffocating hole of your toils and troubles.
Maybe you’ll leave all of this behind once you figure out where the hell you are and how you can go back to your original life.
But sooner or later, you end up getting dragged into an even bigger mess than you’ve anticipated. Finding yourself confused on the same principles that have helped you navigate through life, you are unsure about what is real and not.
At least you’re not alone in this predicament.

In a world full of greed and lies, war has simply always been a part of our lives. The strong trample over the weak, those with power stand above those who don't. Because of this ruthless rule of survival, the world fell into an uneven state and melted into total chaos. Mothers who lost their children wept, fathers who stood in the front lines to protect their loved ones fell. All because of human greed and lust. The balance of the world crumbled as the greedy took what they could, as the unrighteous destroyed what they disliked.
Out of nowhere, as soon as the world was about to face obliteration, a shining brilliance spread hope upon the world as it appeared. A bright light, ordering humanity to halt their unlawful acts of violence. These lights, who appeared human-like to descend upon the earth, were called the Protectors. At the time they appeared, humanity obeyed their voices and promised to make peace with one another. Those who were righteous and kind were blessed with a land full of prosperity and flourishing environments.
Will this uphold peace for as long as the earth lives, or will war break out once again and defy the law of the Protectors?

GENERALIZED BOOKMARK: Holy shit, I recently read it over on Quotev after looking through all of my bookmarks on my Quotev profile and seeing that most of them were Creepypasta fanfics/reader inserts. I suddenly remembered that one of the reasons why I started fanfic writing in general was because of creepypasta. For that, I am grateful that I stumbled upon this when I was scrolling through any recent creepypasta reader insert fics made. The writing of the author is phenomenal and I highly encourage reading this (on quotev) because it is so good!
NOTES: The toxic friendship portion of Cathy and MC/Crow genuinely reminded me of my own experience of a toxic friendship so uh yay glad we killed her. ALSO NOOO JENNY I WOULD'VE MARRIED YOU WHAT I WISH YOU WERE A PROXY WITH ME NOOOOOO-

Notes: All of the Mafu angst could have been prevented if Mafumom fucking died smh. I hate Mafumom SO MUCH IN THIS FIC. There was way too man angst scenes...I totally did not cry in one of them...hehe...haaahhh
Generalized Bookmark: Omg, I love this Niigo Fantasy AU. This is one of the best written fics I've seen about Niigo ever and I'm so glad I found this! The worldbuilding and the writing is impeccable! I also like the fact that the fellow author knows their music theory too (and I assume the author is a musician as well which makes me happy cause I am one!) and other various pieces of knowledge :D
Overall, amazing! I really enjoy reading this!
