Summary
Dipper isn't sure how he got here.
The means by which he arrived to this dimension, standing in front of the decimated remains of the portal centuries in the past, are a blur. Worse yet, he is trapped in his dimensional counterpart's body, without magic or a way home. And, just one plane over, a long-dead dream demon breathes down his neck.
Now it's a race against the clock to get home, before history repeats itself and he damns this world's Dipper to the same fate he once suffered over one thousand years ago.

Gemerl’s third eye first inspects him up and down, then looks past him into the crowd of ravers inside. “Inquiry: when did you become a bouncer?”
“THIRTEEN DAYS AGO. I WAS EMPLOYED BY ROUGE. COUNTER INQUIRY: WHEN DID YOU ACQUIRE INTEREST IN NIGHT CLUBS?”
“The night club is not the reason I am here. A few days ago, Vanilla noticed that one of her ruby necklaces went missing.” There is a certain hint of annoyance within Gemerl’s robotic tone as he attempts to focus on Omega’s eyes and not how attractive he looks in formal clothes.
(I've wanted to play around with his idea for a while. It's kind of based on an older post I made in this community, but I wanted to explore what a situation might be like if Gemerl and Omega found each other on opposite sides. Then I decided to throw in a tad bit of relationship angst to drive the knife in the coffin more. Not a happy ending, but a hopeful ending. Hope you enjoy! )

“I mean... Zooble had so many to pick from!! I talk about my jobs constantly.” Jax started a counter with his fingers. “One-man opera production, president of Paraguay, owner of a meth lab operation. Don’t tell me you forgot about my meth lab operation?”
“Oh he’s lying. Caine, he’s JUST lying! This is not fair!”
“YOU’RE RIGHT! THAT ISN’T FAIR!” Caine chorused.
Caine snapped his fingers.
Jax stiffened.
Jax fell silent. The smile dripped off his face. He looked at his hands. He looked at Caine.
“What did you do?” Jax asked.
“I MADE IT SO YOU CAN’T LIE!”

Caine has pulled the Circus into a Get-to-Know-You Trivia Adventure! It’s a good opportunity to learn about each other for those willing to play along. It’s an even better opportunity to lie for those who aren't willing to reveal anything. …Until Jax is not allowed to lie anymore.The Circus members have the opportunity to pull answers from Jax he would never willingly admit to under torture.
