“You could come, if you wanted to,” Anakin said, looking away from the brightness of his angel. “I don’t think my mom would mind if you tagged along.”
“I’d like that very much, but I’m afraid it won’t be possible, Anakin, ” Obi-Wan explained, his smile now wistful.
“It will, because I’m gonna marry you someday,” he stated, tilting his head to the side. He knew he would, just like he knew that when the Twins set the moons rose, and when somebody spilled water on the sand, the next day a tiny cactus would bloom.

Summary
“It’s okay if I…?” he asked, eyeing the stretch marks, grazing them with the tips of his flesh hand. They were in relief under his touch, hard ridges that cut purposeful paths on Obi-Wan’s skin, lighter in shade than the rest of his complexion.
“Of course. They’re part of me and tell my story, of which you’re a pivotal plot point,” his husband said, tucking a wild strand of hair behind his ear. In the golden light cast by the mirror light, Obi-Wan’s auburn locks were afire, his gray-blue eyes lined with laughter lines focused on his face. “I learned to love them for what they are and, at least to me, they almost look like lightning bolts.”
Anakin couldn’t help but smile at the thought; then, lowering Obi-Wan’s waistband, he leaned in to kiss the thunderstorm, careful not to miss a single inch.
In which Anakin wakes up and finds Obi-Wan looking at himself in the mirror.

Summary
“I can’t do this anymore,” Anakin croaked, using the back of his mechno hand to dry some tears still streaming down his scraped cheeks.
Of all the things he had expected Anakin to say, that certainly wasn’t one, but it didn’t take Obi-Wan long to figure out what it meant—they had had similar conversations before, just as tearful, whenever one of them reached what seemed to be their final breaking point.
“You’ll be fine,” Obi-Wan said, his chapped lips stinging when he stretched them into a tentative smile. “You’re stronger than you think, Padawan mine.”
“ My hair is falling out, Obi-Wan, ” Anakin replied, his strained voice cracking on the consonants of his former Master’s name. Then he chuckled, hysterically, and pinched the bridge of his nose as more tears gushed out, mixing with the snot smeared above his mouth. “How is any of it going to be fine?”

Summary
Elderly Obi-Wan Kenobi, a resident in an assisted living facility, is not at all pleased to discover that the newest addition to the community is someone he had never wanted to see again: Anakin Skywalker. The fact that Anakin has suffered a stroke that has left him unable to communicate doesn’t take away from the pain of their past. Forced back together once more, they wade through their tumultuous history and confront three decades of coming together and falling apart, sometimes for good and sometimes for bad, always managing to hurt each other just as much as they love each other. Making peace with their past decisions and mistakes is difficult when the conversation is one sided, but then again, they’ve never been good at communicating with each other.

Summary
Anakin wasn’t pleased to see him.
He did a good job of hiding it, on the surface—better than he might have years ago, which made something tighten oddly in Obi-Wan’s chest. But Obi-Wan could still read it on his face, even here, even now, and beneath that irritation bristled in the Force.
Irritation, and an acrid twist of fear. A queasy feeling wound its way through Obi-Wan’s veins. Such emotions seemed to suit this place, with its obsidian walls and suffocating presence. He wondered if this room had ever known anything else, but the answer rose even as the question whispered in his mind. There was no room for light here—no light but the fires of Mustafar through the windows at Anakin’s back and the golden burn of his eyes. Not for the first time, Obi-Wan considered just what Anakin had made himself do beneath the shadow of darkness to earn those eyes.
Or, Obi-Wan pays a visit to Anakin—on Mustafar.
