They were talking about putting the fork marks across peanut butter cookies, but it was still a little cheeky. He made it a point of pride he would not look every time he heard something concerning. He would trust them somewhat. Colin knew Penelope’s mother did not like him and would murder him if he was caught doing anything naked with their guest baker. He was welcome to fall in love and follow through when they were both graduates with a degree. Anthony was even willing to support a college engagement since Penelope was a bit younger. No one would call Colin a patient soul.
“Do not!” There was a wooden spoon blunt smack, that sadly was too gentle to do damage to his dumb brother. Penelope might have even made it a warning shot to his oven mitt that he was wearing to show he understood safety and would wear a glove for her.
“Colin not smash? Why Colin no smash, Pen? Colin smash real nice.”
