3 days, a grade 3 concussion, 2 broken ribs, broken nose, and brain surgery later Dennis is allowed to go home with round the clock care, the only problem is at Santos’ apartment there’s nobody to watch him.
Obviously Robby and Jack step in. Their alternate schedules mean Robby can watch him at night and Jack can watch him during the day.
The question is if Dennis can handle the two older, MARRIED, men, and if he’ll get better after the severe beating he took.All this with a side of religious trauma and being afraid to disappoint god with his indiscretions, how will Dennis manage?

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is an underdog, newly gone-pro-Tennis player competing in his first ever USOpen, aiming for a career Grand Slam. Not only do people love a shy nobody to be put on spotlight but he is also the first trans player to be in the male league. All the cameras and eyes on him but hey no pressure right? At least he doesn't have to traverse the confusing Glitz and Glam of the Tennis world alone as always by his side is his coach and trainer, former player in his prime, Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch. People would pay money beyond this world to have someone like Robby as their coach but Dennis does not have that kind of money, coming from a small town in the middle of nowhere, Nebraska. Luckily for him Robby has had his fair share of fame and now delights in helping another young man rise to the top, and surely ... nothing else.
However what the two didn't expect is for their most threatening opponent to be Jack 'The Rabbit' Abbot. A tennis court veteran that has outplayed more people than some had careers. Summary
Robby always remembered the man who studied with him in med school. He’d first met him at a bar dancing freely like nothing could hurt him. He saw him pick up another man and leave with him and envied the courage he had. When he saw him in his medical course he picked up the courage to get with him.
Abbot always remembered the wounded man he'd picked up in the Desert. A British soldier who had escaped captivity. He’d helped nurse him to health. And soon the two became entangled.
Robby always wondered what happened to the man, he just disappeared one day. Abbot wished he didn’t know what happened to the Brit.
So when a med student appeared looking like the man they both lost it’s too good to be true.
Dennis just wants to die. Hopefully when he’s not undead. So why does he have to spend this last hurrah tortured by the only people he’s ever loved.

Dennis is a suicidal vampire trying to die as a human. And on his last attempt the two attendings from his past are put on his path .
