Max Verstappen seems like the type of person who's self-centered, pedantic, and rude; at least when you first meet him.
He is too honest to the point of being a hazard to the reporters (some reporters are quite annoying, can't blame Max entirely for that one)
Also, he can be aggressive towards people when things don't go his way (Jos Verstappen, we're looking at you)But in the eyes of Daniel Ricciardo, he's just Maxie, a sweet boy who likes to cuddle and has so much trauma to unpack that chooses to regress to a younger headspace to process his childhood and abusive father.

Summary
Oscar Piastri is an engineering student, and currently an intern for the McLaren F1 team. If he does well, he’ll get a permanent spot with them, traveling to races and working firsthand on their F1 cars.
Then he meets Lando Norris, a giggly, cheerful bartender with a silly personality and a smile that lights up the room. And Oscar thinks he’d risk it all for him, because the only thing he’s ever let himself want has been his career — and Lando’s been added to that list now, too.
There’s one catch, though; Lando has chronic pain, fatigue, and a past troubled enough to make love feel like something that has to be earned.
Oscar just wants Lando to feel safe, and eventually, allow himself to be loved.
Lando’s scared. Oscar’s patient. And through his own body breaking down, and finding ways to cope while he works through his past — allowing himself to trust someone else? That might just be the hardest battle Lando’s ever fought.
