You bring your hands up, waving them frantically in front of your face, a nervous laughter erupting from your throat.
“I– I mean–” you repeat once more, only to hide your face with both hands. “I-I’m sorry, Arthur. It’s just– I thought asking you outright would be weird, but it seems I’ve made things worse… And– and it’s not that I wanted you in the room or anything! I just thought it would be nice to be with you, and you’re always around to comfort me and help me with things, and– and I trust you to protect me, you know? You– you make me feel safe.”

Arthur Morgan tries to be a decent man. A good man, even. But when you're just so perfect, and he's just so needy, it's hard to keep his thoughts in line and even harder to keep his hands off you.
Luckily, you give him the chance of not having to ask.

For years, Arthur felt as if he was following an unlit winding path to wherever it was that men like him ended up. Hell or worse. He was just… going through the motions because he didn’t know how to be anything other than what he was.
Your touch threw him off that path. You seemed to grab hold of him from the inside, reminding him through sensation alone that he was a person who could feel, who could want.
