When Dumbledore did the old ritual to try and get Zielle Potter back to earth after realising she was the one from the prophecy so she could hopefully defeat Voldemort for them or at least weaken him enough and die in the process, it didn't just bring Hermione and Astoria with her.... it brought their partners too and all of them are pissed off.
Realising that they're completely stuck in England unless they help the idiots defeat Voldemort, they reluctantly make a deal with Dumbledore that he'd let them go back home gone once they're done. A deal both sides are intending to break eventually. At least, they have a few allies in this place who help them as much as they can
Well, while they're at it, they might as well explore the world the girls had left as children so long ago and drive Dumbledore and his order insane as well as find the way back home by defeating Voldemort and his death eaters, so that the few allies they actually care about can live in peace

I'm really bad at writing summaries but I can say that this is a series rewrite starting with Harry actually getting his first Hogwarts letter and then running away from the Dursleys. Oh, and what if the adults actually did their jobs?
This will include multiple animagus forms, duelling, politics, and mini-harems, and an independent Harry!
Ok, I've been told I should clarify....by mini-harem I don't mean Harry has four wives, I mean five people in a fully-equal relationship.
