In the exact manner as he said he would, Akechi Goro walked through the door of Leblanc.
His hair held lightly melted snowflakes, while his nose was pink from the harsh bite of the late January air; and while academic fashion wasn't Akira's strong suit, even somebody like him could tell the value of Akechi's scarf from how carefully he unravelled it from his throat. It, and his trench coat, were both hung on the coat rack near the door, a small puddle collecting by Akira's own boots only a few feet away.
Akira had been ready for him, he'd told himself this. Had brewed the other his usual cup of coffee, in the mug Akira had most certainly not found a way to mark as the others for any form of sentiment (it was a deeper shade of crimson-- an imperfection in the crowd of bright red cups, only for Akechi.) He told himself he'd be ready.
And yet, Akira almost dropped the cup at the sight of those crimson brown irises again. He swallowed.

Summary
In essence, Kaito is realizing that rigging a sprinkler system full of a highly flammable sleeping gas at a heist while he has a singular trick lighter is a VERY bad idea. Oh and great now he's hearing his dead father in the flames. This will not hinder his ability to escape safely at all, none whatsoever.

Summary
Akira looked over his shoulder at Ryuji and Ann, who were staring at Akechi and Akira in confusion, and flashed a cheeky grin. “Nah,” said Akira breezily. “This is my sugar daddy!” Promptly after, Akira stumbled, and Akechi’s iron-grip around his arm tightened, catching him.
“You belong in the gutter,” muttered Akechi, throwing him in the passenger side and slamming the door.
Two years after a public panic attack forced him to abandon his title as a shogi prodigy and a lucrative career, Akira Kurusu is suffocating under his parents' debt, balancing multiple part-time jobs, and barely clinging to his university enrollment. When forced to join an extracurricular to maintain his scholarship, Akira is forced to enter the Chess Association, a fake club Debate Prince Goro Akechi concocted to give himself a private club room.
After being evicted from his apartment, Akira is assigned to dorm with Goro Akechi, and are forced to learn how to tolerate one another!
