“Derek, I know, I’m Stiles,” he said quietly, shaking his hand quickly.
Oh. So that’s a Stiles. Huh.
There was a noise from the room at the back, and before Derek could react, Stiles had switched their hands over, so he was standing next to him holding his hand. Derek froze for a second, completely taken aback, as Stiles leant in towards him.
“We’ve been dating for three years, we were talking about maybe taking things to the next level, but we’ve been having problems lately,” he whispered into Derek’s ear. Derek tried valiantly to concentrate less on the feeling of Stiles’ breath ghosting over the sensitive skin on his neck and more on the (quite frankly insane) words coming out of his mouth, because what?Derek agrees to an extra credit assignment to watch a marriage counsellor at work. He didn't expect to be the subject...
