This is the offer Shane, a vampire unable to hunt due to psychological trauma, makes to Ilya, a young who attends a suicide support group and feels he has already lost everything in life.
To Shane, Ilya is the only chance to avoid starving to death without having to become a monster. To Ilya, Shane is the perfect angel, possessing a kindness he never found in the world of the living.
