Adrian desperately needs a change. Life in the city isn't as glamorous as it looks and he feels like he's gonna get swallowed by the stresses if he doesn't get a change so, when he receives a chance to change everything, he takes it, not realizing the friendships, family that actually cares and potential romance that can bloom in the small city of Pelican Town. It's easy to open up the more reserved resident with his cooking and it helps that he cooks for about twenty too.

Summary
According to everyone, she wasn’t what any of them expected. When they’d heard she was a veteran they had thought she’d be hardened and serious. Instead they all said the same things about her. Helpful, funny, honest, and generous. She spent an absurd amount of money on things that bettered the community in some way. She was the main reason the mine carts and bus were working again. (Even though no one knew how she managed it.) Why the library suddenly gained a better collection. She’d even provided Penny with up to date books and supplies to help teach Jas and Vincent better. Robin had mentioned how she’d been hired to fix up the roof on the Stardrop and even paid her to inspect Evelyn and George’s roof when a leak was barely even mentioned.
With each story of generosity something in him tightened. He enjoyed hearing how she’d helped everyone in some way, even if it was just a simple errand, she didn’t hesitate. He was glad things were going well on her farm but a brief flash of her leaning heavily on a short cane left him worried. Was she pushing herself too far?A story about Harvey falling fast for a stubborn farmer.

Honestly, Luffy shouldn’t be this heartbroken.
But you know that sinking, deep feeling when you know someone is better than you? When that person is off to become SOMEONE and you’re stuck here being NO ONE? Yeah, well… he supposed things made sense why it went the way it did. There was no wonder why Law left him so suddenly. He wasn't meant to be anyone. Monkey D. Luffy would always, irrefutably, be a no one.
That is until a stranger with bright green hair, painted black fingernails, and three golden earrings that chime like a lazy summer breeze wanders his way into his life. Perhaps Luffy could be someone... or rather someone's?
