Summary
Neither Damian nor Tim wanted this marriage- it was a product of their parents' desires. For Damian, Bruce's want for him to come out of his shell, to break free of his isolation. For Tim, Janet and Jack's desire for their son to have some sense of normalcy that they deemed acceptable.
But from moments even before the altar, Damian knew he hated Tim for this. And Tim responded in kind, a vile atmosphere growing between them.
Until something snapped, and maybe Damian began to notice things about Tim. Began to admit to himself that maybe he was a bit wrong, in hating this man who was now his husband.

The two dots are pressed close together in one corner of the warehouse map. Tim's marker pushes Jason's back into the corner. Jason's heart rate ticks up again. It doesn't take a genius to put together the chain of events here, and Dick is a decently smart guy who's known Tim and Jason for years and years, through thick and thin; watched them circle around each other and orbit closer and closer towards an inevitable collision. Even the stubbornest Bats have to crack eventually. Dick didn't think a routine kidnapping would be the thing that did it, but. Alright, then.
Bruce narrows his eyes at the screen. Dick can practically see each individual thought flickering across his face, the world's greatest detective putting things together in real time. Oh, boy.
"They've always had a tense relationship," Bruce says. "It was bound to boil over at some point." He leans so close to the screen that Dick is tempted to turn things back on him and lecture him about eye strain. "They're fighting again."
"Uh," Steph says.
"Well," Dick tries.

Steph, Dick, and Bruce observe Jason rescue Tim from a kidnapping. Bruce is in for a revelation. Dick is in for a long, long night.
