Summary
[Apo went silent. He fixed his gaze on Mile as thoughts of all of his desires swirled around his head. He couldn’t stop his eyes from dropping to Mile’s lips. When he sensed the lightbulb flicker on in Mile’s mind as he caught onto his bluff, he swallowed down his lust, looking away.
“It doesn’t matter what I want.” He whispered.
Mile moved closer to him and grabbed him by his chin. Apo’s lips began to quiver in anticipation and fear.
“Why don’t you understand, Po? That that is all that matters to me.”]

After the tragic and sudden death of his parents, Mile is lovingly taken in by the Wattanagitiphats. It's at his new home where he meets his soon to be best friend for life, Apo Nattawin. Spending many summer days and nights together, sharing all their secrets and sneaking off into their private treehouse hideaway, they become inseparable. Almost too inseparable.
As they grow up and try to make their own way through life, Mile and Apo find themselves emotionally tethered to one another. It's hard to confront your feelings when there are so many obstacles getting in your way. Will they be able to navigate their friendship without things ending in heartbreak?

Summary
Alec is promoted to Captain and has to lead his team for the first time instead of just following orders. He later gets assigned a specialist on Daemonic artefacts to his team. If getting used to a new role was difficult, with this new chaotic element, it gets even more challenging.
Let's be real, I just wanted Magnus with a mind meld ability. :D It is light military sci-fi/fantasy focused on relationships, TSC characters in Mass Effect AU with my own tweaks. (You don't have to know Mass Effect to understand this setting; it is just sci-fi. :) )
