Following his departure from the Spring House and Hanyang, Yeo Woon wanders through the lands and forests of Joseon as a new gwishin. His journey, intended to eventually find a way to the Qing Empire and the protection offered by the ignorance of resurrections in the countries adjoining the kingdom, leads him to meet other of his kind, and to further question his condition as a revenant, as well as his affection for Baek Dong Soo.

Complementary piece from "The Gwishins" (happening between chapters twenty-three and twenty-four, I'm not even sure it can be called "canon", whatever). This is part a crackfic, part a sad fic. You tell me.
Gyo Hui Seon tries to win a argument by visiting Yeo Woon's memory through the collective consciousness shared between the Gwishins and proving him he gives Baek Dong Soo The Look™. She drags old Jae-Ji into it. She wins the argument. Things sadly do not go as smoothly as she intented to.
Officially inspired by memes and the surprising fact that no one has talked yet about THAT Look™ Woon gives to Dong Soo at the beginning of episode 17.

1776. Ten years after the execution of Heuksa Chorong's Sky Lord Yeo Woon, the dead resurrect throughout the kingdom of Joseon. Lost and traumatized, they desperately seek to rejoin their families and friends, but meet with the living's hostility and fear, and the government deploys severe repressive measures against them. After his resurrection, and forced to hide like his peers, Yeo Woon is confronted with a questioning of his identity, a choice of sides between the living and the dead, and above all the unspoken aspects of his relationship with Baek Dong Soo, responsible for his death ten years earlier.
This story, built around four main arcs, presents itself as a sequel to the original drama, and follows the development of several characters, living and dead, through a society fragmented by resurrection with ethical, social and moral questions.
