Summary
Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish is declared K.I.A during a failed recon mission in 2017. His commanding officer, Captain John Price, takes the loss personally but has no other choice then to move on. He creates Task Force 141, keeps the bad guys scared of the dark, and hunts Makarov relentlessly - the man who killed his sergeant all those years ago.
Five years later, Price fights an assassin with a familiar face.
Spectre-07 doesn’t remember anything. Maybe he had once, but years of conditioning have stripped his mind bare, save for the instinct to kill. It's all he knows, all he craves; the blood of his target between his fingers, at the end of his scope or along the blade of his knives. Okay, so this is a dream, he thinks, where he’s thirty years old and in a stranger’s apartment and—what’s the point? He’s dreaming but why this, why now? He collapses into a chair and rubs his forehead. It’s something he’d seen his foster mom do before, but never really understood. He thinks he finally gets what she meant when she told him that life was giving her a migraine.
He's about eighty percent certain he fell asleep as a thirteen year old, after all.

January 2100
Grantaire and his group of young rebels protest against France's tyrannical president. But the leader, Grantaire's lover, is arrested. The protests go on, though, forcing the government to release him.
And then they shoot him dead in front of everyone, in front of Grantaire.
Two years after, a new group of revolutionaries who call themselves Les Amis start to give people hope. Grantaire, too cynical, too bitter, and too drunk, would rather die than get involved again in freedom fighting.
Until he helps out a sweet poet, and meets the Les Amis' golden, charismatic leader.

Summary
Les Amis De l'ABC has grown consideringly larger and more important since a protest that should have taken their lives was overwhelming successful. As a result however Grantaire feels alienated from his friends as though they are steadily growing apart.
Little do they know though, their petty dramas are nothing compared to the real life dangers that are waiting for the members now that they've made a name for themselves, and Grantaire is thrown straight in the middle of it.
A very dramatic E/R Slow burn fic.
