My take on the field trip trope, where Peter lives at the tower but May is still Alive and Tony is not his dad
The thing that finally pulled him out of his daydream planning was the words “Stark Industries” spoken loud and clear at the front of the class.
Looking up from his formula doodles he spotted the words “field trip” scrawled across the whiteboard. The class more or less erupted into cheers and claps from all bar 3 of the students.
The three current stark industries interns all just froze and shared concerned looks to each other. Obviously behind Ned’s concerned expression, was the joy and excitement that he was trying to suppress. Sure he went there all the time, both as an intern in his own right, and as peters friend to hang out on the living floors, but still, he was getting to spend a school day at his favourite place on earth!- Language:

Peter and his class get to Stark Industries for their field trip, but when they get to the front desk there’s no tour guide waiting. Instead Happy pulls Peter aside and tells him the tour guides are all out sick with the flu, and that Pepper wants Peter to lead the tour. Peter’s not freaking out… totally not. He can do this (maybe) if he can just channel Mr. Stark for the day.

Peter is doing his best, Flash is being a jerk, Mr. Harrington is awesome, and Peter and Tony get some important things figured out.

And it didn't help when he saw Eddie find out too, across the station and his stomach flipped when the man grinned at his phone.Not a normal grin, not a nice excited smile. No, no not at all. That's not what Buck saw on the man's face.
He looked dangerously delighted.
As if this was the best news of his life, the opportunity to fight Tommy was obviously something he was looking forward too. But it didn't feel friendly, it didn't feel like a nice fight between two people who were friends.
Or LA announces a charity boxing match and Eddie is paired against Tommy, this leads to many things Buck wasn’t expecting

The words died in his throat along with the shatter of the mug against the floor. But Eddie barely noticed he dropped it, his mouth slightly agape as he stared at Buck, took in the bruises, and the blood, and general brokenness of the man before him.

Or: After the Lawsuit, Buck is starting to think his team will never forgive him and is feeling lonelier than ever, when his dad shows up, looking for money that Buck doesn't have. Now, his ribs are broken and his face has been pummelled into one big bruise. All he wants to do is retreat to his empty apartment and wallow in his own self-pity, but before that he needs to get his keys, which he'd left at the station the previous night.
Everyone else is on shift, so he's hoping he can sneak into the locker room and be gone before anyone notices he was there, but this is Buck, so of course, nothing goes to plan.

“When I was a kid, my friend’s grandma had one catch fire while she was using it,” Eddie blurts out. “Is that what you want to happen to us while we’re sleeping?”
