Summary
Maleanor hadn't intended to be a mother to more than Malleus, the idea felt wrong after Lilia's death. And then she found a human infant abandoned in a castle.
Raverne had always wanted more children, but thought that it would never happen, until Maleanor comes home with a human baby in her arms.
Malleus doesn't know how he feels about suddenly having a human little brother.
-OR-
Lilia Vanrouge dies in the human-fae war instead of Raverne and Maleanor. So Maleanor and Raverne end up adopting Silver instead.

Malleus was mostly quiet for a moment, before a quiet hum of thought escaped his lips. “I suppose I do want the chance to at least meet her.” Malleus replied.

SPOILER WARNINGS AHEAD:
This is an AU where the second years got fed up with being hurt, looked down on, abused etc. So, they started a (definitely illegal) organization called A.R.E.S. meant to take down and kill people like those who had hurt them. (Racists, bullies, abusers, etc.). They step in where others wouldn't or won't, they do for others what they wished someone would have done for them. They keep this a secret from everyone close to them.

Summary
An AU where rather than the fae winning the human fae war, the humans do. Silver's mother still dies in an unfortunate accident, but the humans remain strong, they were safe, and docile fae were welcome in the kingdom as long as they didn't attack anyone.
Out of guilt, Aurore, also known as the Knight of Dawn, takes Malleus in upon finding the baby dragon fae in the woods. Malleus quickly became Silver's personal servant and best friend.
(No idea how long this series will be and the AU is mostly just me screwing around for the heck of it)
