In the Thomas Harris novel series, Hannibal has black hair, pale skin, and red eyes. I had a random thought that this fanciful description could match up to the real life condition of albinism somewhat— and so this fic was inspired!

A year or so after Hannibal and Will survive their fall off the cliffs, they’ve established their current tenuous peace in a villa safe house in the Italian country. A more passionate kind of tension now lurks below the surface of their relationship, and when Hannibal heads out after an argument and gets in trouble with a rather rude Italian street gang, what choice does Will have but to borrow his motorcycle and show up to make a scene and take him back home….? Sometimes all it takes to make the pot boil over is a little outside nudge. Or rather, a little outside conflict, nice weather, a leather biking jacket, and some blood on the paving stones spilled just for Will Graham’s partner in decidedly more than crime…..
