The older straightens up, though, as a passing hotel staff offers them a few glasses of champagne, on a tray. He accepts two flutes, and hands one to Taehyun. “Here.”
Taehyun mindlessly takes it, eyes scanning behind and around Beomgyu for an exit. Or someone he knows. Please, anything.
But Beomgyu brings a finger under his chin. Taehyun stills. Beomgyu lifts his face, just slightly.
“Who are you looking for?” he asks quietly.

Beomgyu always knows who Yeonjun is sleeping with.
Taehyun is one of those people.
Beomgyu had met him a few times. Always casually. Always in the quiet aftermath of something; a half-dressed body emerging from the bedroom, hair tousled, face flushed and smug. He never lingered; he just threw his bag over his shoulder and offered Beomgyu a glance, and a soft ‘goodnight’ as he slipped out the front door.
He’s a little intimidating.
But they’ve never had a real conversation. Not much more than a few polite exchanges here and there. Beomgyu isn’t exactly the chatty type with people he doesn’t know well, and Taehyun doesn’t seem the kind to force small talk. Their connection begins and ends at Yeonjun. Or, at least, that’s what Beomgyu assumed.
Which is why when Yeonjun brought up the idea of a threesome, it blindsided him.

A part of Beomgyu wonders if things are going to change once Taehyun’s recovered. He’s well aware now of his feelings for the alpha, something that he’s come to terms with over the last few days. Admittedly, Beomgyu’s pretty sure he knew about it weeks ago, too afraid to even broach the topic with himself.
As he glances down at Taehyun’s peacefully sleeping figure, panther tail curled around his thigh and brushing Beomgyu’s, snoring softly with a pretty flush still painting his features and the endless expanse of smooth and tanned skin glowing golden in the sunlight filtering in through the window, Beomgyu thinks it’s impossible to not be in love with Taehyun.
He’s beautiful, inside and out.
Beomgyu feels lucky to have him.
