    With all the grace of the most powerful being in Hell Lucifer sat on the stool, kicking his legs to swivel around towards Husk with a dazzling smile. There was a crackle of power in the air, a tinge of danger to the otherwise unsettlingly charming face beaming across the bar, leaving Husk feeling welcomed and also like he was about to get his ass kicked.

    Ah. So this is where Charlie got her… everything. They even had the same cutesy dimples.

    “Welcome, Your Majesty-”

    “Please, call me anything but that.” Lucifer immediately interrupted. “Sounds like I’m some sort of grand monarch lording over his measly subjects when you call me that.”

    “Sure.” Husk decided not to point out that as King of Hell he was exactly that. “What’ll it be, sir?”

    “Uh, been a while since I actually sat at a bar and drank, well, anything… got anything special?”

    “I can make whatever you want. Or you can leave it up to me.”

    Husk finds himself entertaining Lucifer for the night and has a surprisingly heartfelt conversation with the guy.
