MORE ACTUALLY GOOD VALENTINO REDEMPTION. Most stories start out with too much fluff and aren''t even canon-compliant anymore, or it's going mostly okay but when it gets to the "redemption" part it just falls apart. I saw another one where Val and Angel actually got back together and both got redeemed, but at the same time the redemption events were kinda gimmicky and fluffy. Cute, but when you're talking about someone like Valentino YOU DO NOT COMPROMISE LIKE THIS! It wasn't that validating to me, so it could potentially harm people who are victims of IRL people like Val. We need a nuanced "redemption" and stories like this are a good start!!
(Also I was planning on writing my own but got lost in nuance so... Yeah, this is a VERY GOOD FOUNDATION. Mine's a bit darker, but I think this is the most realistic and forgiving version of Valentino redemption)The NSFW was a bit jarring but it's okay

ACTUALLY GOOD because like idk where Pyramid Steve was from before, but he's a good integration/addition anyway and this is a pretty good realistic depiction of a potential Bill Cipher redemption.

Actually makes sense considering developments in canon (which a lot of fanfictions end up deviating VERY FAR from as a result)! Any deviations are reasonable given changes to canon in the fanfic's plot... very rare, and done very well! Also, Masaki not surviving at all has always pissed me off so there is that.
