His phone buzzes again, and Lan Zhan picks it up this time. To his surprise, it's a message from the Blood Bank.
The Blood Bank was a way for him to make money faster, beyond his usual teaching job, to help his mother. He tried not to think too much about the fact that there were random faceless vampires feasting on his blood.
Frowning to himself, Lan Zhan clicks the message.
"You have been selected as a special provider for a very prestigious client! The Yiling Laozu has chosen you to be a part of his regular collaborators!"
Lan Zhan raises an eyebrow when he sees the name.
Very few vampires are known amongst humans, because they keep well hidden, but Yiling Laozu is one of the most well-known ones.

Lan Zhan's blood gets the attention of a vampire who is well known to the entire world for his creations: Yiling Laozu. At the same time, a beautiful man he meets on a rooftop tries flirting with him, his aura strangely alluring.

Red pointed ears?
Wei Ying blinks twice, shakes his head, and looks at his reflection again. His reflection looks back at him, hair mussed and eyes wide and ears pointed straight up and forward in alarm, his tail puffed out as he evaluates the threat—what the fuck, his tail?!
Or: Wei Ying's been both human and fox his whole life, but not like this.

Lan Zhan reigns in his thoughts and clears his throat.

“Bunnies,” comes a strangled gasp from the man, and Lan Zhan looks back at him with curiosity in his eyes. A red glow is starting to spread over the stranger’s face.
“Bunnies?”
“Oh! Ahhhh! Just- your pants. There are… bunnies.”
Lan Zhan looks down and remembers, with a jolt, that he is still wearing his bunny pajamas under his coat. He feels his ears heat up.
“Pajamas.” he blurts out, feeling the shame of the Lan family weighing down his back. “My trip here is… last minute.”
Lan Zhan is in a state of extreme emergency. A true crisis is on his hands.
He is out of hay.
