Wen Ning was sure this death would be permanent. There wasn't a Wei Wuxian to resurrect him and he figured it was better that way. Almost all those he loved were gone anyway so there was no reason to stay. If given the chance there were things he would do differently. People he would talk to sooner. Relationships he would foster faster. But he was dead, and there would be no third time.
Turns out the Universe had a horrible sense of humor.

The boy throws his head back and laughs, too loud for the place they're in. Lan Zhan's glare does not shut him up and only makes the boy laugh harder. “Sorry, sorry!” The boy wipes around his eyes, trying to quieten his giggles. “I just saw that you were sitting alone and thought I should say hi. You're new, right? I'm Wei Ying!”

Tommy wasn’t very sure on what he was seeing right now, mostly because whoever it was looked eerily like Techno.
Their hair and fur was the same pretty pink and the same ruby red eyes, except the doppelganger's hair was oddly curly and slightly more windswept in comparison to Techno’s wavy hair, more like how a princesses hair was always shown to look like in story books, but more uncontrolled like they had been leaping great lengths into the air repeatedly.
Actually that may be the case, considering that the guy had rabbit ears, only one faint glance down at where there would be piglin hooves, there are rabbit paws.
Fucking rabbit paws! Combined with the strangely domestic clothing, the cutesy flower crown and the apron and the heavy resemblance to the fuckin Blade of all people made for the strangest encounter Tommy thinks he’s seen in a hot minute.
He didn’t even dare breathe as the rabbit hybrid finally spoke in a horrifically familiar voice that was just filled with embarrassment and fear that made Tommy more confused as to who was more scared of who.
