Pomni glances back, still not seeing Jax. She decides to go try and find him- he wasn't doing too hot when they got in.
What she finds, sitting in that bathroom, will be something she always remembers. She could never act like they weren't friends once.

Adrien swallowed hard, trying to ignore a painful clench on his insides. “Me? Nervous? Where did you get that idea?” No, he wasn’t supposed to be stressed. Please not now, he begged his own body, but it made him even tenser.
