He sat at his desk, hunched and frustrated. His scalp was sensitive and tingling from where he’d been gripping his hair. It’s all a huge fucking mess.
Well, perhaps he couldn’t be blamed.
It was well into the night, long past the acceptable bedtime for a thirty-three-year-old, but this was common.
