Now he struggles when he looks in the mirror, unable to reconcile the image in front of him with the way he still feels inside.

“Can you call someone else?” he replies, “Considering you guys are in Grand Line right now, I doubt I could come and pick him up.”
“We’re not in Grand Line,” Law’s heart drops, “We’re at the Dressrosa International Airport right now.”
Or, Luffy misses his boyfriend, so he decides to go to him, drunkenly.

Law had been happily sprawled out on his couch dozing slightly. It was his day off and he was gonna milk it. In the background the dryer beeped again reminding him that his laundry was done. And had been for the past hour.
“Huh?”
Luffy didn’t even look up from his phone. “My dads' are getting married again and I want you to be my plus one.”
Looking back, Law regrets agreeing.
