“I think that means you lost.”
“On a technicality, really.” Astarion attempts to refute, but finds he starts going adrift in the way Gale looks so satisfied with himself, having bested the proprietor of taste and confidence. “How far off is a peach from a plum?”
“Pretty far, I reckon. And a loss is a loss.” Gale says, and sets down his cup in between them. “But all is not dashed so quickly, Astarion! Take comfort in the fact that this means you are permitted a chance to earn a new honorific.” When Astarion looks up at him in confusion, he quickly adds, “I am sure you are aware of the adage that hot people always tip well, are you not?”
Ah, well…who is he to dispute that?

Summary
In a manor near The Sea of Fallen Stars, on the outskirts of the Grey Forest lives a mysterious man who calls himself Count Ancunin. His peculiar nature and habits are an open secret, often spoken about in hushed whispers by the towns people of Tsurlagol, a port-town only a short distance from the Grey Forest. He and his three similarly odd "companions" resided in the Heartstone Estate alone, secluded from the rest of the world, until Alvira, the youngest of his "companions", began to show promise with her magical abilities. After months of begging, the Count finally agreed to hire a tutor for her, despite their purposeful reclusiveness. As luck, or fate, would have it, the renowned Professor of magic, Gale of Waterdeep, came across the advertisement for help, and answered the plea. Along with his trusted companion, Tara, Gale traveled to the Heartstone estate to become a full-time magical tutor. What, or who, exactly awaits him there is as mysterious as the Count himself...

Summary
It took a moment for the Elf’s words to fully register. “Ancunín? Wait. You’re A. Ancunín?”
Gale’s fluttering heart slammed down into his stomach. He dropped Astarion’s hand, his own smile becoming more strained. Of course his entitled deskmate would be attractive; he was likely used to getting anything he wanted through charm. Well Gale wasn’t falling for it.-
Gale cannot stand his coworker Astarion and Astarion cannot understand why his coworker Gale is being such a dick.
