Summary
After a long, warm, very thorough shower, Henry dressed in his pajamas - and then, his secret weapon. His green silk robe lined with dark green faux feathers. It all but awoke Alex like some sort of sleeper agent whenever he wore it, and so he saved it for special occasions. He thought a proper apology for being a right dick was occasion enough.
Leaving their bathroom with a flourish, Henry heard a telltale hitch in Alex’s breath, a small cough let out to cover it up.
“What are you wearing?” He asked stiffly.
“This old thing? I just threw it on,” Henry said with forced nonchalance. “Why?”
“Why? He says like he doesn’t know what that fucking robe does to me.”

After a fight, Henry makes it up to Alex with feathers, a silk robe, and submission.

It tastes just as she’s said, something like lemongrass and terribly green tasting. Around the halfway point, Alex taps the bottom of the glass flask and Henri pulls the rim free with a gentle pop. “There you go,” she coos, squeezes their fingers tighter together and swipes the moisture from Henri’s upper lip with her free thumb.
“Now what?” Henri whispers into the still, small air between them, grinning wildly.
“Now,” Alex takes the flask, “it’s my turn.” She swallows down the rest of it easily, lithe pink tongue licking whatever remained off her own lips.
