    The player character from Hogwarts Legacy ends up at Nevermore Academy, where he tries to date a cute werewolf and stay out of trouble.

    "He is a potential threat to student safety." The deadpan voice behind me causes Enid to squeak adorably in surprise, and both of us turn around. Standing there is a pale Latina student, her black hair tied in two neat braided pigtails. She's pretty but disquieting, like a beautiful porcelain doll that comes to life in the night to murder your family. Where Enid is bright and expressive, this girl looks at me stoically, seemingly emotionless.

    Enid puts her hand over her heart, gasping "OMG, Wednesday! You almost gave me a heart attack!" She turns to me, "This is my roomie, Wednesday Addams."

    I offer Wednesday my hand, "I'm Jeff."

    She glances at my outstretched hand, then looks back up at me without taking it. "I know. You are the deadliest wizard in recorded history, with over a thousand confirmed kills of various beasts and beings. There have been two Dark Lords since you vanished in 1891, and neither personally killed that many over a mere nine months."

    I freeze, my hand still awkwardly outstretched.
