Summary
V1 never spoke. Or, more accurately, they couldn’t. The machine simply was never fitted with a voice box- a necessary sacrifice made to allow for its processing power to dedicate itself to far more crucial functions.
Functions that were, in the eyes of their human creators, the machine’s only purpose.
To slaughter and destroy with the highest efficiency possible.
Of course- a weapon had no need for a voice.

Three sounds pierced his focus in quick, terrible succession. First came a choked gasp that sounded distinctly non-borisin followed by a sharp, high-pitched sound of pain, and most damning of all, the unmistakable clatter of a metal bat against the stone floor. Unable to resist the terrible sinking feeling in his stomach, Dan Heng whipped around to find Stelle suspended in the air by a blade piercing through her stomach. Before he could even make a sound something slammed into his back and sent him straight to the ground, his spear ripped out of his hand. Something heavy put pressure on his back, keeping him on the floor. It didn’t matter.
Desperately he reached out towards the gray-haired girl, seeing her blood splatter to the floor several feet below. “Stelle! Stelle-”

The song gets louder, and Alastor is still sitting up, staring at him with wide eyes, smile small and dumbfounded. Lucifer catches a few words, louder than the static, and Alastor must notice, because he's glaring at the air, as if that'll make it stop, because the song, without a doubt, is a sappy, longing, love song.
"Turn it up, Al." Lucifer laughs out, and Alastor turns fully red at that, especially when the song does exactly that.
