Summary
It's been eight years of this.
Eight freezing winters and scorching summers without a roof over his head. Countless nights where he debated if eating around the mold of the discarded bread he'd find in grocery store dumpsters would be enough to keep him from getting sick. Too many close calls where he'd almost get caught swiping a granola bar from the gas station or a couple bucks from the pocket of some prick of an alpha.
The sole guarantee that Felix has in life is that he can only rely on himself.

From the second he presented as an omega, Felix's luck has been absolute shit. For eight years, he's had to fend for himself in a world that decided he wasn't worth keeping, one that never offered him the same warmth he gave so freely to others. Still, he doesn't complain. What good would it do? Compared to some of the other street rats, he's lucky. He can keep his scent hidden, his hands are quick, and as long as no one catches them... he'll live to steal another day.

Felix shakes his head. “I don’t know. I’m not in any pain. I’m sore, but there’s no pain.” Minho nods. “You?”
Minho echoes his sentiments. “Same. I’m not hurt, and…” He looks down at his arms and hands. Like everything else in the area, it’s splattered with blood. He notices it dried under his fingernails, and he starts to think he might be sick. “This isn’t mine.”
