Summary
Ghost has spent every moment since climbing out of his grave hiding his identity as an Omega, and has done a damn good job of making every person in his life believe he’s an Alpha. Then Shepard’s betrayal goes further than just missiles and Mexico and Ghost finds himself, and the rest of the 141, in the unfortunate circumstance of being forced off of their suppressors. With that comes the realization that he’s going to go into heat, for the first time in years.
Soap, very much an Alpha, and very much in love with his Lieutenant, offers to ride out their ruts together. But Ghost isn’t an Alpha, and Soap is about to find that out first hand.

“How do you want me, then?” Ghost asked, looking as though he were bracing himself for something. For what? Soap didn’t know.
“Just on your right side, if ye could. Facing me, head by my table,” Soap directed, sitting down in his own chair and rolling in closer. As Ghost shifted into place, Soap slipped into professional mode. “It’s probably gonna hurt a bit more than your sleeve did, so if you need to tap out at any point just let me know and we’ll take a break.”
Ghost’s eyes flicked up to meet his, looking entirely unimpressed. “It’s a rib tattoo, obviously it’s gonna hurt.”

If it had been anyone else suggesting a threesome, they would’ve been left with no teeth and possibly a broken bone.
But Price, on the other hand…
Ghost trusted him with his life. Not just his life, but his soul. There was no other man he’d follow into active war zones, no other man he’d confide in, no other man he’d trust his Johnny with. It felt like if they were going to do this, he was the only one they could choose.
(And, just maybe, he was the only man that Ghost would allow to teach him how to have better sex.)
