He could feel Pandora shake her head, thanks to the long blonde hair that swished against his bare arms as she leaned over him. “No. It’s the number of loves in your life, Evan.”
“Six?” He asked, looking over his shoulder to find her gazing into the fire, eyes gone hazy.

A shiver ran down Evan’s spine as he watched his sister tip her head and lose herself to whatever vision stole the remainder of her little sight.
“Like the fairytale?” He asked in disbelief. “The one where the cursed prince imprisons a little French girl for stealing a rose?”
