Link has grown up in the castle alongside the the princess of Hyrule. He's lived under the protection of the king for only one reason: to avert the apocalypse by marrying the next Gerudo king.

They watched the credits play, and Shane was about to reach for the remote to turn off the television when he felt Ilya thread his fingers through his hair, tugging lightly. “Get on your knees.”
